On Wednesday, Dec. 12, freshman Representative Seth Rose, along with with two other state Representatives, met with a group of teachers from across the state of South Carolina to discuss issues facing our state's education system and teachers statewide.
Seeing what happened in other states when teachers have held walk-outs, Representatives expressed their support to draft and advocate legislation establishing a Teacher's Bill of Rights in South Carolina. This will hopefully lead to raising the teacher pay in South Carolina and addressing needs that have went unfulfilled in our classrooms.
