A Young Councilman Rises to State House

On Thursday, Dec. 3, after reciting the oath administered by Judge Casey L. Manning, Seth Rose looked out to a fully-packed State House chamber filled with more than 300 supporters, family, friends, and well-wishers present.

In this moment, Seth realized he was beginning a new journey as a State Representative and he had completed the last chapter of service as a member of Richland County Council, where he had represented citizens of Council District 5 for the previous 8 years.
